Waukon is a beautiful city, and the people there are wonderful. The hotel made it easy to unwind, it was incredibly cozy and super clean. Shiela was the absolute best. She was attentive, got the vending machines working, shoveled snow, jump-started cars in the lot, and made the whole stay a great experience. Thanks for having me. This was the best hotel stay I've ever had.

The shower pressure was amazing, and the front desk worker was friendly and attentive. Being close to downtown makes the location ideal if you're in Waukon. The room itself felt outdated, though, and the bed was maybe a 2.5/10. It definitely wasn't queen size, despite being advertised that way. The heat was hit or miss, and breakfast was sandwiches and cereal, definitely not a continental breakfast. I won't stay again.

The pillows were firm and great, which was a nice change from the floppy ones I've found in so many hotels. I arrived Wednesday at 8:00 pm and staff were there to check me in. The room was clean and had all the soaps and other basics, though it smelled a bit musty when I first got in. Breakfast was as filling as you'd expect from a continental breakfast. Newer TVs would be nice, but this was a great place to sleep and get breakfast.

I enjoyed making fresh waffles, and there were sausage, breakfast snacks, and drinks too. The place was clean, the staff were very polite, and the location right in downtown Waukon was great. A really nice, cute little place to stay. Highly recommend it.

The clientele were great, and the hot breakfast was really good. The place was very nice and clean. I also liked being able to sit outside and eat if I wanted to.
