I’ve stayed here several times without any trouble and otherwise love the place. This time I found hairs in the sink and on the shower walls, and all the body wash, shampoo, and hand soap containers were empty. It made me question the cleanliness of the whole room, so I’ll probably try the Holiday Inn next door next time. Disappointed, since the breakfast is good and the front desk is good too.

It’s a nice, quiet hotel. At 11 pm check-in I was offered a bottle of water, which I turned down. In the morning, I asked for one at checkout and was told I’d have to buy it for $2. Breakfast was already over and I hadn’t eaten a thing, I just wanted water for the puppy I was traveling with. So take the water when it’s offered. Also, check the shower’s large soap dispenser before you get soaked. Mine was empty.

My friend and I have been staying at Tru by Hilton hotels on our travels, and we were excited to find this newer one in the area during our geocaching road trip. There were plenty of other travelers while we were there, but the room met the usual Tru standards. I have mobility issues and was glad they gave me the handicap room I’d requested. The staff were friendly, and someone was always at the desk. Breakfast was typical, and when they ran out of items, staff brought out more. We had no noise issues, despite what others said. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

The person who checked us in was fantastic, and we love Tru hotels. But breakfast felt limited: the food was okay, not great, and the fruit looked pitiful. It was winter, so I know fruit can be less appealing then, but breakfast still needed more options and fresher food. The place also felt sterile and really unwelcoming. It could be made more homey. And why charge members $2 for a bottle of water?
