Quality Suites Lansing West

The dining room looked incredible, but my room was disgusting. There were stains on the lamp, and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were already used and only half full. The remote was absolutely gross, with hair and gunk on it. I didn’t feel comfortable touching it at all.

From the service desk to housekeeping and the breakfast staff, everyone deserves a huge thank you. They were welcoming, and whenever I needed anything, they made sure I had extra towels, toilet paper, and so on. I stayed at the Quality inn from march 16 - 24 with my daughter and the dog, and I’m glad I chose it. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were excellent. It’s clear this Quality inn takes pride in the hotel. I’ve stayed at other Quality inns, but none as nice as this one. They deserve recognition because the work they’re putting in shows. This is my home town, and it makes me proud to have this hotel in the capital area. I’ll stay here every time I’m in Lansing, no need to look elsewhere. 10/10.

The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was AWESOME. We stayed at Quality Suites, while some of our group were at the Crowne Plaza. Our room was huge, with a very nice sitting area. The shower was slippery, though, and could use a rubber mat and a handicap rail.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a sliding door separating the sleeping and living areas for privacy. It’s a very clean, pet friendly budget hotel with mini suites, and a good choice if that’s what you need. The hot coffee and lemon water in the lobby all day are a nice touch. We chose it again because we stayed here three years ago and liked it. For under $100, the mini suite has the feel of a more expensive high-end hotel. I took off a star because breakfast wasn’t as good this visit. Before, it was more like a restaurant, with made-to-order eggs and omelets, more choices, and regular tableware. This time it was mostly carb-heavy breads and cereal, scrambled eggs that weren’t fresh from the shell, sausage patties, and soggy tater tots on Styro plates. I was disappointed.
