The location is handy for restaurants and shopping, and the hotel was quiet. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and housekeeping was amazing about our requests. The mattress topper was soft but slid around and dipped in the middle, and the beds were so high they were hard to get into. At check-in, I was told there’d be an extra $5 per night because we had three people, even though we’d booked a two queen suite with a sofa sleeper. That was frustrating, since I’ve never had to pay extra for one person. The room handle was also difficult, needing a push down, pull up, and sometimes another try to open. There was only one TV in the corner by the window, hard to see from the other bed and especially the couch. Its remote usually didn’t work unless I removed the battery cover and twisted the batteries, and the guide button never worked. The screen had a solid black line on the right side. It was a non-smoking hotel, but the second floor smelled strongly of weed.

The room was great, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel looked appealing inside. The location was good for food and shopping, though the door handle gave us a lot of trouble. After checkout, I noticed an extra charge on my card. When I called, I was told they had discarded the mattress because it was wet and the moisture had soaked into the padding. I assume the bed got used for what beds get used for right before we left, and, well, things can get messy. I understand being charged for damage, and if they thought the used mattress had to go, so be it. But I wish they’d told me about the separate charge before running it. It came as a shock. I’m not mad about the fee, it was worth it, but I’m not saying damage to property is okay.

The desk staff member even helped carry our luggage up the stairs without being asked, which I appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast was good too.

We’ll definitely stay again. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and breakfast was very good. Everything felt clean and well maintained, and the location seemed safe and secure. When the clerk saw we were towing a car trailer, he walked outside to show my husband where we could park. No complaints, it was well worth it.

Check-in went great, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was good. The bathroom lighting was so dim I could barely put on makeup, and the hallway was even worse. Our room supplies hadn’t been restocked, so I had to go to the front desk twice to get more.
