The bedding was gross, with cigarette burns, blood, and tears, and the room reeked of old cigarette smoke despite the no-smoking sign. The beds felt decades old, with a foam topper put on instead of replacing them. I've stayed in motels at similar prices, but none were this bad. A man next door had a dog even though pets supposedly aren't allowed. I can only hope there weren't bed bugs. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else. Absolutely awful. 🤢

The curtains do a great job keeping the light out, and the room was quiet enough for me to sleep through the night. The bed's topper was soft and squishy, too. There's a full bathtub with plenty of hot water, plus a TV, microwave, and mini fridge. The fridge really is tiny, about the size of a box, but I could fit a quart of cream for my morning coffee and a 10-inch cake from Walmart. I brought my own 4-cup Mister Coffee maker, though they provide a single-cup one. I've traveled around the world for 60 years, since I was six months old, and stayed everywhere from The Raphael in Paris, France, to the YMCA/Army barracks in Charlestown MA 40 years ago. So in response to one-star reviewer "Chris H.", I have to say The Gravity Inn Motel is quite comfortable. It's just fine!

There wasn't any toilet paper in the bathroom when we checked in, and the bed had stains that looked questionable. The room reeked of rancid cigarette smoke. This hotel was disgusting! 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮

The food was great, and there was fun to be had at the nearby restaurant and bar. They're owned by the same family, who were very friendly. It's a great place to stay, and I enjoyed myself.

The food made me sick the next day. Also, putting a box in the microwave started a fire, and I had to replace my microwave.
