Courtyard by Marriott Wayne Fairfield

I was completely drained and needed somewhere quiet to relax and just decompress for a bit. This Courtyard was understanding and made it easy to take a break. Deborah at the front desk was a pleasure to talk with, so kind and down to earth that she felt familiar. She noticed the details and cared about every guest, kids included. Her presence made me feel comfortable, and I absolutely loved my stay at this Courtyard Marriott. Thank you!

I wasn’t staying there myself, but I wanted to send a small amenity to my girlfriend’s room before she arrived for a work trip. Amr told me they don’t really do that, and suggested I order something through DoorDash. That worked out even better. While I was calling from the West Coast, Amr wrote a personal note by hand and delivered the DoorDash to her room before she got in. Five stars for going above and beyond. That’s real hospitality.

We picked the Marriott because it had a reasonable rate and availability during a hockey tournament. The team was fantastic, always smiling and going above and beyond. Before heading into the city for the day, I asked if they could put a little birthday sign in my daughter’s room. When we got back, they’d turned it into a whole celebration, with decorations, candy, snacks, and paper goods. She was surprised and felt so special. Thanks for making my 12-year-old’s day during our busy weekend!

I’ve stayed at hotels in Africa, Asia, and Europe, but this is my favorite by far. It’s the people, especially Mohammed, that make it stand out, not the building. The front desk sets the tone as soon as you walk in, and Mohammed makes that first impression count. He’s professional, warm, and attentive, and somehow makes everyone feel welcome and valued. Even when things get busy, he stays calm, organized, and efficient. He handles questions clearly, sorts out problems quickly, and keeps a positive attitude. He notices the small details and goes out of his way without needing to be asked. Mohammed is the heart of the operation and a front desk professional who leaves a lasting impression every day. Thank you for everything, even though thanks doesn’t feel like enough. Respect!
