The Hotel Landing

A storm on the East Coast kept me from making my stay this weekend. My booking was through a third party and had no refund policy, but Lillian, the front desk manager, understood what happened. The third party got in touch quickly and arranged a refund, which I hadn't expected. I was really happy with the service. Hopefully I can reschedule and stay here another time!

The hotel is very nice, but I wouldn't buy the “Pamper Your Pet” package again. We paid $150 and got two empty dog bowls to use during the stay, a dog bed, three treats, and a Hotel Landing shirt for our dog. They had only one size, and it was much too small. The treats and silly shirt were ours to keep, but the other items were just for use while we were there. I still can't tell what the $150 was for. We felt pretty ripped off.

We'd eaten at 925 several times before we finally stayed at the hotel, booking a room for our son and daughter-in-law on their wedding night. The room was comfortable and high quality, and Lillian at the front desk was awesome. The stay turned out even better than we'd expected for the kids. Thanks for exceeding our expectations.

The sunset from our room was spectacular, and I was surprised how much we used the location, even though we live only a mile from the lake. My family of four stayed in the Presidential Suite for two nights while we were out of our house, and we were completely wowed. We walked to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was 80 on October 3, so the weather helped. I'm a Luxury Travel Advisor from the Wayzata area and stayed at 30 properties this year alone, including some of the best hotels on the planet. The Landing Hotel still impressed and delighted me. It's a gem in Wayzata, and I'd recommend it for a staycation or when family visits. Thanks to the Landing Team!
