The main living area stayed uncomfortably hot, reaching the 80s, which made cooking, eating, and watching TV unpleasant. The bedrooms each had their own wall AC, but the rest relied on central air that worked poorly. The driveway is also very steep. It didn't bother me, though I'd avoid the place in snow or icy conditions. Bedroom clothes storage was limited to closets, and with only two TVs in such a large house, we felt more would help. The cookware could use an upgrade too: one pan had its nonstick coating missing, and there was no large pot for pasta. Some wall decor would also make the place feel homier. We stayed five days in a spacious, well laid out house with six bedrooms, each with a separate bathroom. The gazebo and hot tub were nice, and the location was close to attractions. We went horseback riding, hiked Laurel Falls, and tried Whiteater rafting, and enjoyed all three. For Eden Crest, which operates the house, I'd suggest improving the central AC, adding inexpensive drawer units in the bedrooms, putting TVs in the bedrooms, replacing the worn pan and adding a large pot, and adding some pictures or other decor.

The house was a good size for a large group, but our stay was awful. Flying bugs were all over the place and kept landing on us, making it hard to sleep. Then the water went out because the pump power needed resetting, but nobody treated it as an emergency. We had to cook and bathe with bottled water, which cost us extra. After the water came back, we were told to wait a couple of hours for the 5000 gallon tanks to fill. We waited and still had no water, so we had to call for service again. It finally ran 16 hours later, but it was brown, so we spent more money on water. The filter was never replaced, which caused the brown water. Customer service was rude, and nobody apologized. We asked to move, but no other property was available because it was a holiday. We also requested some reimbursement for the water or a reduced rate, but the owner has yet to respond. The refrigerator had broken drawers and missing shelves, the microwave needed fixing, and the washer and dryer were outdated. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

The layout worked really well for five families. It was very private, with lots of wood inside and big bathrooms. Super nice!

Lovely cabins, kept very clean, and a great place to stay.
