Americas Best Value Inn Weatherford, TX

Most things went well, and whenever I asked for something, it was handled quickly. But the room issues really dragged the stay down. Smoke came through two holes in the wall from the smoking room next door, so my non-smoking room felt pointless. I covered the holes myself, and you could hear everything through the walls. The towels also looked stained or unclean. There was no complimentary coffee or microwave, and the door had been broken in, didn’t close properly, and was missing the required secondary safety latch. Thanks.

We won’t stay here again. The front desk didn’t seem to care when we raised the problems, and acted as if they couldn’t understand or speak English. There was hair all over the sheet and a bad smell when we got ready for bed. Earlier, I found dried urine spots on the toilet seat, and the cabinet under the sink was packed with trash, some of it moldy. I took pictures. We’d paid for a room advertised with an in-room jacuzzi, but what we found was a tub with a couple of jets in the bathroom. It was the worst place we’ve ever stayed.

The place has fresh paint and recently added furniture, and the remodeling looks good. I’m glad there were no bugs. I’d stay here again. Thank you.

The room isn’t a place to unwind. I work nights, but housekeeping only cleans if you leave, and they skip the room instead of coming in the afternoon, which would suit me better. I end up taking out my own trash. Only two of the stove’s four burners work, and the refrigerator freezes everything. I reported the broken toilet seat, but maintenance came by more interested in how many people were in the room, and two weeks later it’s still broken. The desk man is the rudest person I’ve ever met, and the service is awful for what the room costs. I pay every two weeks, but he reserved the room while I was still staying there and told me I had to leave whether I wanted to continue or not. If that’s how America's best value does business, it’s not worth even turning into the parking lot.
