The neighborhood has that cozy, lived-in feel, with families around and little homes from the 1930s and 1940s. State Street may be Weiser’s main road, but traffic barely disturbed the quiet during my six nights here in late October 2025. The owners are friendly and really seem to want guests to be comfortable. It’s a small, family-run kind of motel, and my room was clean and had what I needed. There’s a Mexican restaurant right next door and a pizza place in town. I also tried the trailer in the parking lot: burgers and fries are on the menu, but the owner made me chicken alfredo with salad and cake when I asked. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. I don’t usually write reviews, but I’d absolutely head back here if I’m in town again.

I’m pretty quiet and not much of a talker, but Rick made chatting easy and had me feeling welcome right away. Check-in was quick, and I felt looked after throughout my stay. The staff and owners clearly care. They offered complimentary services and thoughtful food options, checked that I had what I needed, and left notes asking if I wanted anything extra done. My room was clean and in good shape. They’ll cook food whenever you call, too. Mine arrived hot and fresh within half an hour. I’m grateful to the whole team and to Rick for making the place feel like home.

We got into town late, so the keypad entry worked out really well. The office is super cute and has a homey feel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, like they’d known us forever. I’d stay here again next time I’m in town.

The little food truck out back is a nice touch. If you’re staying here, you get 10 percent off your order, and the diner food is great. The place itself is amazing and has a homey feel.
