Jim Thorpe is only about a 15-minute drive away, which made getting there easy. We had a renovated room on the third floor, and it was roomy, clean, and quiet. Even with the highway just outside, we barely heard it. The pool runs from 6 a.m. until midnight, though the water was freezing; the hot tub was just right. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly at both check-in and checkout. I also liked the free cookies for guests. Breakfast is included, but the choices are pretty limited. Checkout at noon was a considerate bonus, later than at most hotels.

Everyone on staff made us feel welcome throughout our weeklong stay. Alecia at the front desk deserves a special mention for being so kind and friendly. The hotel was spotless, our room stayed neat, and we didn't run into a single problem. A fantastic place to stay, and I'd highly recommend it.

We slept so well, and staying here made our visit to the area even better. The place has just been renovated, and everything looked great, from the floors and walls to the carpet, which still has that new smell. Linda at the front desk was such a pleasant, friendly person. Thanks, Linda!

We stayed overnight so the kids could go snow tubing at Blue Mountain, about 20 minutes away. The hotel is right off the highway and close to PJ Welihans. Check-in was easy, and our room was spacious and clean. The indoor pool and fitness room are open from 6 a.m. to midnight. Breakfast had plenty of good options for everyone. DEBBIE IS A SUPERHERO IN DISGUISE💖💖

The breakfast was the biggest letdown. It was the same eggs and sausage each day, with oatmeal and muffins in packets. By 8:45 a.m. the bread, bagels, and yogurt were gone, the coffee and water were barely warm, and there were only a few apples and oranges. The hotel is beside major highways, so traffic noise was noticeable day and night. Still, the place was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff were attentive and helpful. Service was great and everything was tidy, but I'd bring earplugs and get breakfast elsewhere.
