Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Wellington-West Palm Beach

The patio fire pit was a lovely place to sit at night, and the outdoor pool was clean and really cute. We also had a beautiful view of the pond from our spacious studio king room. The bed was so comfortable, and the blackout shades worked incredibly well. The room and the clean-smelling lobby were both spotless, and the lobby itself looked great. There’s a small gym with good equipment, including a stair machine. Breakfast and the coffee and tea were complimentary, with a decent range, though the food was only mediocre. A couple of things looked worn: a chair had torn marks, and the black coffee table had scratches filled in with marker, which looked messy. The shower smelled a bit moldy, and I sneezed every time I used it. The property is small but clearly tries to make each detail count, and it was a surprisingly nice place for my business trip. The Fairfield Marriot is very convenient, too. My main reservation was the price, $570? No, the review doesn't state cost. Nearby Polo events made our dates extremely expensive, so I took off a star; it seems rates are usually lower in other seasons. I’d recommend it when the price is more reasonable.

Jasmine at the front desk made a rough night turn out well. My third-party booking had been canceled, and I was already exhausted after flight delays and sleeping at the airport. She gave me the bad news with a big smile, then let me stay in the lobby while I worked things out with the booking company. She offered water, checked on me, and was patient and kind throughout. The room was clean, the staff helpful, and my stay at Fairfield was wonderful. Jasmine’s care helped me stay calm and made this the best customer service I’ve ever had. Huge thanks to her for going above and beyond.

Jonah at the front desk was so friendly, and even took pictures of our group for us. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, but the manager apologized and got us into another one right away. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and we had a great time at the pool. I’d stay here again if I’m traveling through the area.

My room was clean and roomy, and the property and surrounding area were fairly quiet. The staff weren’t especially friendly, though, and didn’t even greet me. I was in a bind, so I used points despite the outrageous $570 nightly rate. For gold status, late checkout was the only extra I got, with no water bottles or anything else.
