The rooms are small, but they were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was decent. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. For a two-star hotel, it has what I need, so I’m happy to stay here when work brings me nearby.
8/10
The manager always tries hard to help us and goes beyond what we expect to make sure we’re satisfied. The maids keep everything clean, and the front desk staff deserve 100% too. My daughter lives in Welton, so we come to this hotel whenever we visit. The people who work here are very, very nice. See you next time!

There’s plenty of parking, and it was quiet. Everyone was super nice, and breakfast in the morning was awesome. Great place to stay.
10/10
The room was great, and the gentleman who checked me in was wonderful. I felt very safe here, and it’s an extremely quiet area. Since the hotel is just outside the City of Yuma, it’s a good stop if you want to get away from the city. If you’re after city life and excitement, stay in Yuma instead. I liked my first stay enough to come back the next time I passed through, and I did.
10/10
The room at the Microtel in Wellton, AZ was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and I had a restful stay. The staff were courteous and welcoming, and the property was cared for overall. A couple of things didn’t match that standard: the dove cleaning station needed maintenance, and there was no hose for water. There was also an abandoned electric tricycle sitting in the first-floor stairwell, which seemed out of place. Those disappointments didn’t outweigh the quality of the accommodations, and I’d still recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, reliable place to stay.
