Residence Inn by Marriott Wenatchee

In 2025, we stayed here for over a month and had a wonderful time visiting friends and family. The staff were responsive and generally attentive. I use a walker and mobility scooter, so we booked an “accessible” room with a roll-in shower, grab bars, and other features. We also travel with a dog, which was another plus. Then in May 2026, after many confirmations from the hotel, we arrived to find management had given our “accessible” suite to someone else. We received no notice and, apparently, they made no attempt to find another accessible suite. We had to leave, so our family visits were cancelled and the trip cut short. We’re Marriott Silver/Gold members too. So much for that. Beware.

We came for a 7am morning appointment and got stuck behind a train that was moving through, then stopped for an extended time. We tried finding another route, but every road in the area leads to the same set of tracks. It took 45 minutes before we could finally get out. The neighborhood can be challenging to leave during heavy train traffic. The facility itself was great, comfortable, and inviting, with decent breakfast options. It’s also nicely close to the ballfields and walking trail.

The management takes great care of guests and goes above and beyond. The hotel has an outstanding breakfast, nice common areas, and a wonderful gym. It’s right on the River Trail, so it’s easy to head out for a run or walk from the hotel. The room AC gets nice and cold, which is great for people who need that to sleep well.

This was a business trip, and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Wenatchee. My room was clean and spacious, with bedside outlets to charge my phone. The TV let me sign in to streaming services like Netflix and YT, and the bathroom had an exhaust fan, which is so nice when showering. Those little conveniences earned it five stars from me. The only negative was the thin, scratchy towels. They were some of the worst I’ve used at hotels across the nation. If they upgraded the towels, it would be perfect in my eyes.
