The price was the lowest around, and the room had a fridge and microwave. Internet was free and insanely fast, around 20-30 Mbps download. Hospitality was great, and room service was there when I needed it. The pool was covered and unavailable while they were remodeling, so I bet it'll be great once the work is done. I rated it two stars myself because there are no pets allowed at all, and I couldn't smoke in my room and had to go outside. Smoking outside is probably for the best, but I was sad to leave my little buddy Tuffy with a friend.

I'd definitely avoid this place. The room's air conditioning quit overnight and wouldn't start again, and the toilet only flushed about half the time. Most of the outlets didn't work, when I could even find them. At 7:30 in the morning, the so-called continental breakfast was just day-old muffins in a case, with nothing else put out. When I raised the AC issue, the manager came out in a rumpled T-shirt and shorts and basically acted like I was a woman who couldn't turn it on. He wouldn't even consider that I might be right.

There was congealed vomit on the way to our room, and we had to jump over it. Inside, the carpet was filthy, the walls had stains and random holes, and the window AC unit had clear water damage around it. The hotel was dirty and badly outdated.

This place isn't fancy, but it's clean, the doors lock, and the people running it seem decent. Wentzville Police and the St. Charles County Sheriff drive through to check that things are safe. Compared with the nearby Budget Inn, I didn't see drug dealers, prostitutes, or criminals here. It's also cheaper than the slovenly Budget Inn.
