Ramada Wentzville

There was no breakfast, even though the listing says hot breakfast from 6 to 9 am. All we saw was coffee and tea, which we weren't going to try given how the place looked. The hallway stairs were strewn with trash and cigarette butts, and our room looked sketchy. The bathroom shower leaked water all over the floor because the curtain sat too far out, and the ceiling was disgusting. They were supposedly remodeling, but reviews say that's been going on for quite a while and it looked like nothing had been touched. It took the guy forever to get us into our reserved room, and the place was run down and dirty. Stay far, far away. This was one of the worst places we've ever stayed.

The one good thing was that they refunded me right away, without a question. I still worry management won't understand why we left. We checked in and then checked out almost immediately, which we've never done before. The whole place was in disarray, with pet waste and mold along the hallways and floors, and it was hard to breathe. The trash bins hadn't been emptied, the bathroom wasn't clean, and there wasn't a clean spot to sit or sleep. The building and surrounding area were very run down. In its current condition, I don't think it would pass a health inspection. Truly a disappointment and not a place I'd recommend to anyone, though I do wish them luck.

I wish I'd read the reviews before booking. We've usually had good experiences with Wyndham Hotels, so I didn't check them at the time. This was the worst hotel I've ever experienced. At check-in, the courtesy phone took three calls before anyone came to the desk. The person wore regular street clothes with no ID, knew the system, and got me checked in, but it felt very unprofessional. My room was dirty, as others have said. The sheets looked used, the pillows had yellowed, and the towels were thin, worn out, and stained. There were floor stains, and the other bed had what looked like bodily fluid on it. The deadbolt didn't catch the strike plate. The shower head leaked around its body, leaving very little water to come through the spray part. I can't confirm it, but there appeared to be black mold on the ceiling. I wish I could've asked for a refund, but it was late and I didn't want to look for another place to stay.

Stay far away. The sheets and towels were covered in disgusting stains, and the toilet barely flushed. They didn't even have water available to sell. The staff were very rude and the opposite of hospitable, with no care at all for their guests. I wish I'd read the reviews before booking. This was the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed at.
