Sleep Inn Wesley Chapel - Tampa North Closed

The room was the main problem for us. The bathroom was tiny, and the two double beds felt very small. I’m 6' 4" and my calves hung over the end. The beds weren’t comfortable, and there was a sewer smell from the sink. The room also smelled like someone had fried food in it, and that odor never went away. They should clean the rooms better. The outdoor pool was small too. I’d pick another hotel if I were staying in Tampa again. We were there for two nights. Breakfast was good, the all-day coffee and tea bar was nice, and the staff were helpful.

The staff were the best part for me. They were professional and courteous, and Lisa and Amy in the kitchen were superb. I also loved having a good breakfast ready without needing to cook. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was quiet and very clean. I was surprised by what an exceptional stay I had.

The staff were wonderful, and they even called after I left to let me know I’d forgotten my ring. They were completely honest about it. I loved the hot breakfast and the evening popcorn and chocolate chip cookies, and the hotel was very clean. My only suggestion is to add soap dishes in the showers. Five stars from me.

The breakfast was fresh and really good, with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, and more. The kitchen staff kept everything tidy, refilled the food, and checked on guests. The hotel is also handy for nearby restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. I was evacuating for Hurricane Idalia and arrived before check-in, but the front desk was ready for me and getting into my room was easy. It was spotless, bigger than I expected, and had a clean mini fridge, microwave, and single-cup coffee maker. I planned to watch storm updates and ended up sleeping for three hours instead. The bed and pillows were that comfortable. I’d definitely recommend this Sleep Inn.
