Lighthouse Inn

We’ve held family reunions at the Lighthouse Inn several times, and the food, service, and accommodations have been excellent each time. On our latest visit I lost a money clip with several hundred dollars. I didn’t expect it to turn up, since it had no identifying information, but I told the front desk. They found it and returned it. Thanks for a great stay and for reminding me there are still good people out there.

We only came for dinner, not an overnight stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everyone enjoyed their food. Sitting outside by the water as the sun set was priceless, though the sunset isn’t visible from every table. The drinks were right on point, and my sister has a new favorite mudslide spot. The trip was worth it. The chowder had very tender clams and a good clam-to-potato ratio. The Caesar salad with shrimp was solidly good. The lobster ravioli special was good overall, but I thought it was light on lobster for the price. The meatloaf dinner got devoured. We finished with chocolate cake, which was decadent and worth cheating on your diet for. I don’t say that lightly, get the dessert! The cheesecake at the next table looked amazing too. I’d definitely reserve a table on a weekend.

I left a disposable camera in my room when I checked out after a wedding weekend at Lighthouse Inn, and I was devastated because I’d used it to photograph the bride, groom, and wedding party for a memory book. Grace took my call, checked with housekeeping, and found it. Then Bill packed it carefully in a box and shipped it to my home. The staff at lighthouse provided top-notch service. Terrific team and a wonderful place to stay.

Michelle is what makes the waterfront bar at the Lighthouse Inn so memorable. She’s warm, welcoming, fun to talk with, and makes everyone feel like a regular. She remembers people’s favorite drinks and gives great recommendations. The drinks were spot on too. The bar sits right on the water, with sweeping Nantucket Sound views, a salty breeze, and spectacular Cape Cod sunsets. It’s an easy place to slow down and relax with a cocktail. Between the setting and Michelle’s hospitality, it’s a must-visit on Cape Cod.
