The location worked perfectly for skiing at Mt Snow, about 5-10 minutes from the ski fields, with bars and restaurants also within a 10-minute drive. There’s a free shuttle right outside, and free parking if you drive. Our room had a renovated bathroom, warm showers, and heat in both the bedroom and bathroom, which was a relief after I’d read a few worrying reviews. Breakfast is basic and cold, with cereal, oats, coffee, and toast, no eggs, bacon, waffles, or pancakes. I wish there’d been a fridge, even a shared one at reception, but my cold groceries stayed cold enough by the door. The sauna and heated pool made the stay for us. Friendly hosts, and I’d happily come back. Thanks!

The host greeted us so generously, and it’s a very nice place. The dated carpet and need for a deep clean stood out, though. It really could use a thorough cleaning.

We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or sauna, though they looked nice. The owners were very kind and helpful, and the homemade Indian food was a treat. It’s an affordable, vintage ski lodge that’s been well cared for, right beside a really cool brewery with live music. Such a good base for skiing. I’d come back. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The owners were lovely, and I had a wonderful stay at the Austrian Haus. My room was great, and Mount Snow is only about 10 minutes away.

The owners were the nicest, and the heating was great. It’s in a great spot, with really good Indian food and solid value for the money. I could hear everything happening above me pretty easily, though.
