Cooper Hill Inn

It was such a peaceful, lovely stay. The host was very accommodating, and the place felt cozy and home-like. You can see Mount Snow mountain from the area, which makes it easy to judge how much snow is on the mountains. I’m definitely coming back next year.

I’ve had a wonderful time at both of Meiling and Martin’s inns: the newer Cooper Hill Inn and The Inn at Quail Run, about 10 minutes away. Each has its own amenities, and they’re both spectacular. My husband and I went with a group of about 25 and had a blast. We stayed in what I’m calling the wedding suite, though I’m not sure what the room is actually named. It was huge, with a comfy king bed, couch, mountain views, a large bathroom, electric stove, and Jacuzzi bathtub. The owners also added a deck connecting the two master suites, wrapping around two sides of the inn with those amazing views. The views really are postcard-worthy, stretching for miles over the mountains, with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The inn itself is so much fun, almost like a big mansion, with staircases to different areas, multiple sitting rooms, and comfortable couches. The gourmet kitchen has been completely renovated, with a giant chef stove and every appliance and dish you could think of. There’s also a beautiful dining room with a fireplace and lots of tables, plus a cozy table area right off the kitchen. Two living rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, give everyone room to relax and catch up. It’s a great place to unwind. Meiling can arrange for a massage therapist to come to the inn by appointment, and there’s a room set aside for massages. They’ve also put in a brand-new hotel-sized outdoor spa/Jacuzzi and a giant new sauna. State hiking trails are within walking distance, just down the road. Meiling and Martin are wonderful hosts who are available to answer questions and help with whatever’s needed. My husband and I give this quaint inn an A+++. It would suit weddings, reunions, retreats, ski trips, or an overnight visit, though I’m not sure if there’s a two-night minimum. We’ll definitely be back. Meiling was so sweet and accommodating, and the country inn has stunning views and even better hospitality. We traveled as a family of four, and my daughters didn’t want to leave. They’re already asking us to go back. I’m a real germaphobe, but this was the first place I’ve stayed where I felt at home. Everything was lovely and clean, and I couldn’t have been happier.

My in-laws stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. They said the stay was pleasant and the mountain views were gorgeous, and they’d stay again on their next visit. Mei ling is so lovely.
