I stay here often and always look forward to returning. The hotel is lovely and well located, but it’s the warm, professional staff who make it special. Alexis goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home and handles requests with ease and grace. Channing, Alex, and the rest of the team are just as attentive, often anticipating what I need before I even realize it. Thanks to Soho House and especially this staff.

Nick, you have a problem. People have been calling out the front desk and service here for three years, so why hasn’t anything been fixed? This doesn’t feel like a ‘Soho house’. The front desk is terrible, and the rooms are poky, small, and dark. It took 15 mins to get a coffee in the lobby, the lift wasn’t working, and the fire alarm rang for 10-15 mins at 6.30am. Nobody on staff communicated anything. Is the place burning down? Who knows, no one would tell us. If there had been a fire, you’d have had no chance, with no lift and no communication. You’re sadly tarnishing all your worldwide teams’ hard work.

The mushroom asada tacos are so tasty, and the ground floor is perfect for rainy, grey days and winter nights. Rooftop Reno is dreamy, the most beautiful, cozy rooftop in LA. I drive up from the Westside whenever I’m stuck in gloomy weather, though I wish there were a place like this in Venice. I miss the vegan Caesar salad.

A 10/10 mini bar, delicious free coffee and cookies, and lovely turn down service made my room feel like a little retreat. There was even a hair straightener and body scrub. The room itself feels more like a 5 star stay than the hotel’s 4 star rating suggests, and it was very well equipped with everything I could want and MORE. I’ve been a member and stayed at many SoHo houses worldwide over the last 7 years, and the house itself still leaves quite a bit to be desired.
