For a business trip where I just needed somewhere to sleep, this place was adequate, but I wouldn't expect much beyond that. When I came down 20 minutes after breakfast began, the tea water was only lukewarm and the food looked and tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours. Major remodeling was underway, with plastic sheeting all around. It wasn't bad for a place to rest my head, but it wouldn't be my first choice next time.

With the hotel under construction, the room could have been cleaner. They didn't honor my request for extra pillows. The ones provided were too soft, and there were only three for a king bed.

There were bedbugs all over the mattress, stains on the sheets, a dirty comforter, and a disgusting bathroom. The carpet in the hallway was torn up, and it smelled like a dirty basement. We had to leave for another hotel. When we asked for our money back, the manager got an attitude. The hotel was bad, and the customer service was very poor. Don't stay there or waste your money.

The room was clean and thankfully didn't smell of smoke, and the bath towels were soft and fluffy. Breakfast was okay, though I wish there had been a waffle maker. The hall carpet needs replacing because it smells like smoke, and the elevator felt a little scary. The walls are thin enough that I could hear people in the hall. I was woken at 3 am by people having sex for 30 minutes, then my neighbor was throwing up at 6 am. Gross. I never thought I was a light sleeper, so if you are, I wouldn't recommend it. The employees were nice and friendly, except they shouldn't cuss while guests with kids are eating breakfast. Other guests seemed very sketchy. I wish I'd paid a little more and stayed at the Hampton. I guess I learned you get what you pay for.
