The price made this especially disappointing, and I found the beds very uncomfortable. The door wouldn't lock properly, the linens, towels, and pillows were worn out, and there was a gross, nasty plunger left on the floor beside the toilet. Brown water came from the showerhead. The floor was sticky, with rust and humidity throughout the dirty room, and dirt and mud all over the hallway. Everything seemed in disrepair. This place should fire the management and renovate if they want to charge that much. I'm going to file a complaint through Expedia.

There was no comforter on my bed when I was ready to sleep. Reception said they were short and that the remaining comforters were already in rooms assigned to arriving guests. After I insisted, they took one from a room that already had a guest name assigned to it and gave it to me. Guests shouldn't have to negotiate for basic bedding. The situation felt disorganized and below basic hospitality standards. The hotel is right beside the highway, so car and truck noise came through clearly, especially at night. The front desk didn't have earplugs either. Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing.

Jessy at the front desk was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The staff were considerate and assisted us in many ways. The hotel was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, and the location was very convenient to its surroundings. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this motel.

Jessica, who works evenings at the front desk, made an otherwise intolerable stay pleasant. The elevator was out for our entire visit. The halls and rooms smelled smoky, fixtures were rusty, paint was peeling, and this felt like a bargain-basement place. Our supposedly renovated room didn't look much renovated. The microwave was cracked inside and seemed a health and safety hazard. The bathroom door wouldn't close, and the bathtub had been set over an older one, shifting against the wall and floor when we got in and out. The towels were brown, and for a room with four people they provided just three washcloths, two hand towels, and three bath towels. I came back midday to find all our towels gone. Housekeeping later showed up with an oversized trash bag of towels in the middle of the hallway and handed out a few brown, stained towels and a bath mat. Choice Hotels management needs to invest in its guests and update its hotels.
