The rooms are overpriced and feel stuck in the 90s, not very modern at all. The location was pleasant, easily the best part. Security was the worst, especially BRITTANY. Her reputation gets around, and the other comments I read about her matched what I saw. She needs customer service training, and I witnessed her treating some people with bias. Tim was the only security guard who was nice and professional. He saved the day when the alarm in our unit wouldn’t stop going off. BRITTANY, take a page from Tim.

We’ve been staying at high pointe since 2008, and I’ve never left a negative review before. Unit 235 was awful. The surfaces looked like they hadn’t been dusted in months, and the first three coffee mugs I pulled from the kitchen cabinet had weeks-old coffee residue in them. The kitchen floor was badly cracked, and the dryer had rust spots. There’s no place to hang clothes in the small main bedroom closet. The tubs and plumbing fixtures look like they’re from the 1980s, and the main bathroom had only two small towels. I’m done coming here. If the prices reflected the condition, it would be different, but there are too many other options.

Crabby Steve’s beach bar and grill is right on the property, with great food and drinks and a gorgeous view. We rented through Vacasa, and our stay included bikes and beach setups. The tennis and pickleball courts have recently been redone. It’s a gated condo community along beautiful scenic highway 30a, with the best resort pool in the area.

We chose a downstairs condo because we needed wheelchair access, and the location was really nice. The pool worked well for all ages. Having a restaurant on the boardwalk down to the beach was a big plus. The food was surprisingly good, and so were the beachy cocktails. In this part of rosemary Beach, condo-style units are among the few options, since most places are standalone homes.

We come to High Pointe every year and always have a wonderful vacation. The quieter beach and great pool make it feel so peaceful. We love Crabby Steve's for the fresh food, and Rhonda is the best. Security is great, too. Linda has such a positive attitude and goes above and beyond to help with anything people need. We’ll be back next year 🌞 Thank you again, Rhonda and Linda!
