The water pressure was horrible, my only complaint, but I'd definitely stay again. It was quiet, felt safe and welcoming, and Walmart is a five-minute walk away. Everything was very clean with no odd smells, which is a relief after too many musty hotels that reek of marijuana. The beds and linens were comfortable, and breakfast was better than I expected: smoked sausage, frozen omelets, yogurt, breads, pastries, waffles, cereal, fresh cut fruit, juices, milk, and coffee. The oatmeal would've been great if it wasn't soupy, and there were seasoned potatoes too. There's a pool as well.

The hotel was nice, with a clean room and grounds that were well kept. The front desk attendant was super nice. Breakfast was better than most, with waffles and lots of toppings, scrambled eggs, microwave sausage, oatmeal with add-ons, cereal, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and juice. They also have a Tesla charger, useful since there are few chargers around and most aren't compatible with NACS. Downsides were the high price compared with other local hotels, a super expensive pet deposit, and an unfriendly morning front desk.

We got a spacious room for our one-night business trip, and they let us check in early. The team greeted us warmly, and shops, restaurants, and food options are conveniently nearby. The pool was a little chilly, but the salt water setting was still nice.

Our first room had broken HVAC, and the hotel kindly moved us. Unfortunately, the new room was beside one where people were constantly smoking pot, right by the entrance. Whenever someone went out to smoke, the HVAC blew it into our room. The smoking spot should be farther from the doors and building, and the hotel should stop employees and guests from smoking right by the entrance.

The room was really dirty, and construction on our floor left it dusty, dirty, and smelly. I emailed the CEO and got no response. We go to west plains often, but this was our first and last stay at Hampton.
