We'd loved our stay across the street at the Captain Stannard, and had my parents and in-laws stay there this weekend, but wanted a place where we could bring our dog. Osprey Cottage was just lovely. The beds were really comfortable, the bathroom and shower were terrific with great amenities, and the living room and kitchen were great. They even left a cute dog bowl for our pup. Dog owners should know there's a specific lawn for dogs to do their business, and they can't go in the main house.

Meri, the owner, had breakfast ready and it was amazing. We had a lovely conversation with her. The contactless check-in was nice, and we'll definitely stay again. We were in the Duck Island Room to go to a show at The Kate in Old Saybrook, just 10 minutes away. The room worked perfectly, and would suit a longer stay too, since it has a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and small refrigerator.

Our intimate wedding felt perfect, and Meri Wick and the whole staff made it memorable and stress free. They had everything figured out, from a gorgeous bouquet and cake to personalized glassware for our toast. Bobi Brooks, our JP, had an amazing vibe, and we loved our photographer too. My husband and I only wish we'd found this place sooner. It's beautiful and cozy, and the staff were absolutely amazing. If you're hoping to elope with your partner, this is the place!

Westbrook made a good base for exploring southern Connecticut. We went troll hunting in Rhode Island and visited the Pequot museum, about a half hour away. The inn itself was comfortable, with several public rooms, wonderful beds, and a delicious breakfast. We had a great stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the Inn was. Our room was spotless, spacious, and nicely furnished, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and polite.
