Westfir Lodge & Mountain Market

The owner, Jara, was incredibly welcoming and did whatever she could to help us make the most of our stay. We had a staff outing with a bike ride on Alpine, and staying at this wonderful Inn made it even better. The location is unbeatable, and having a lockable gear garage and bike wash was a huge plus. We also enjoyed hanging out by the outdoor chairs and fire pit in the evening. The rooms were super clean, the beds cozy, and the parking was spot on. West Fir Lodge was a great fit for me and our crew. We'll definitely be back.

We were five women who biked and drove the Aufderheide Scenic Bikeway from Rainbow to Westfir and back. The Lodge was really cute, the rooms were nice, and having somewhere to store the bikes was great. We loved the coffee and breakfast cafe, and the people were great too.

Our car broke down, and we wound up at Jara's hotel. She really came through for us. The common rooms are cozy and nicely decorated, and the bedrooms were spotless and a dream. The mountain cafe had everything we needed, with breakfast, sandwiches, coffee, wine, cider, and beer, and it was all good. There's a disc golf course across the street, and you can rent discs at the hotel. We didn't get to go mountain biking, though I definitely wanted to. Jara was so kind and went out of her way to help. Thank you, Westfir Lodge!

The cafe was outstanding, with coffee, breakfast, deli sandwiches, baked goods, and beer on tap. The staff were incredible and made us, including our two young kids, feel welcome. The owner and staff even kept the kids entertained during our stay. I've never enjoyed a hotel stay more. We came for mountain biking and will be back. It's a real hidden gem, with lots of character: the hotel was once a bank, and the vault is still visible. It was originally a logging company office 100 years ago. It's also by a cool covered bridge and a park.
