The Grassmere Inn

Peter, the owner, was friendly and made us feel welcome, and his recommendations were great. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and really enjoyed it. Our room was clean and nice, with its own bathroom. The inn is just around the corner from Main Street, so the shops and restaurants are close by. We’d happily stay here again.

There are stores and restaurants within easy walking distance, and the beach is a short 10-15 minute walk away. It was pristine. We loved the peaceful, quaint feel of the B&B, and our room was spacious and cozy. It’s a nice spot to rest and spend time with other people if you feel like it. Dorian and Sharon

The late check-in was helpful since I arrived late, and at first the owner was very responsive and communication seemed great. But when I got to my room, the keys had been left there and the door was completely unlocked. I couldn't tell if the lock worked at all. The place is older, with plenty of creaky floorboards and odd noises, so be ready for that if that's your kind of place. There’s also a lot of construction in the area. Ask them to explain it clearly, especially if you’ll be arriving after dark.

The beach is just down the road, and the shops and restaurants in Westhampton are easy to reach on foot. We’ve been back three years running, and are already planning our fourth visit for later this year. The rooms are clean, and the staff are superb and always ready to help. The location is wonderful.
