Deluxe Inn Motel

The first thing you notice walking in is dead love bugs. The tub has no stopper, the microwaves are junk, and parking is bad. I also don’t get the peace I expect when I’m trying to sleep. The daughter who works in the office has a terrible attitude and likes to bang on the door while you’re asleep, even after I paid to extend my room for a few more nights. They don’t offer to change the sheets during your stay, so you have to ask for things if you want clean sheets. For a decent price, I’d rather go somewhere else than deal with the bugs and bad customer service.

The music next door is the main thing to know about, especially if you book for a weekend. There’s a club or warehouse only a few hundred feet from the Eastern rooms, and it plays extremely loud music pretty much all night. Maybe it’s not a problem on weeknights, but I’m not sure. The sound system is powerful. It might’ve been worth checking out, though the music seemed more rap-oriented than I personally like. The rooms themselves are fairly nice for the dirt-cheap price. Compared with the Knights Inn, where we stayed before, the Deluxe Inn had fewer bugs and was cleaner overall. You get what you pay for, so don’t expect much.

I can’t believe I paid $100 for this room. It was filthy and unsanitary, and this place should be shut down. There were roaches, the sheets were dingy and dirty, and the bed was awful. The refrigerator didn’t work. The outside doors were rusty, and the light switches and fixtures were gross.

The room was disgusting, and I’m never going back. Roaches were everywhere, the bed was awful, and the people were unfriendly with no customer service. The appliances didn’t work, and after seeing the roaches I didn’t want to touch them anyway. I booked through Expedia and should’ve read the reviews first. That part was my fault, but this place sucked.
