We were at the hotel for a hockey tournament, so they knew occupancy would be high. Yet the bartender was left to manage both drink orders and food orders alone. It was absurd and unfair to her, since it seemed like an impossible job. The restaurant menu wasn’t posted in the rooms, and they didn’t offer room service. Those were poor business decisions. If it weren’t for the bartender, I’d have rated the hotel a 1 or 2.

We spent a whole week here and got to know quite a few staff members. They were great, and breakfast was yummy. The place was quiet, and we enjoyed the pool, which was very clean. The gym looked great too. Having a mini fridge and microwave in the room, plus a washer and dryer on site, was super useful. Room cleaning didn’t meet my expectations, but it was okay.

The management communication was really poor. We were told a manager would contact us after we reported the problem, but after two days with no call I emailed the general manager and sent pictures. He replied that he’d review our reservation and get back to us. Six days later, I still hadn’t heard from him. I can only guess he doesn’t believe us or thinks we caused it. The night before we left, we found blood on both comforters. We hadn’t noticed earlier because it was covered by the duvet. We went to the front desk and had to change the bedding ourselves. I understand things happen when running a business, but this lack of follow-up is very poor management.

Breakfast was amazing, with delicious food and lots of variety. The room was huge, and the hotel felt spotless, fresh, and well maintained. Everyone we met was friendly and professional. Luke at the front desk was especially helpful at checkout and with our questions. Our flight was delayed, so we didn’t arrive at this Hyatt in Denver until 1 AM. The front desk agent who checked us in was kind and welcoming and made the late arrival easy. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Denver.

We were there for two nights in April of 2025, and it was a really positive stay. The location was great, the room was large and comfortable, the service was lovely, and breakfast was good.
