Atlantic Inn

The room had a quiet, welcoming feel, with tasteful decor and an old-world touch. My husband and I had a pleasant stay, and we plan to return when we pass through twice a year. Finding the Atlantic took a lot of searching for a place with reliably good reviews, and it turned out to be a real little treasure. After our credit card was compromised on the trip, I called ahead. The woman who answered understood and was happy to accept cash without putting a hold on a card. That's amazing these days.

I liked the change of pace from all the new, lush hotels. This was a great find, with rooms that were very clean, nicely updated, and well furnished.

I was here for a business trip and had a very good stay. The room was clean, and they tidied it every day. There's no breakfast, though Starbucks is an easy walk away, and plenty of people don't care for hotel breakfast anyway. I had to leave early, and the woman at the desk gave me a refund. Honest, good service. The front desk was friendly too. I hope more people hear about this hotel.

It felt recently remodeled, the staff were friendly, and the price was reasonable. There are plenty of places to eat and shops nearby for whatever you need. Downtown Hartford is about 10 minutes away, though the hotel itself is outside the city.
