We stayed overnight before a Saturday wrestling tournament so we could avoid leaving at 5 a.m. for the hour-and-a-half drive, with our 11- and 12-year-old boys. Scott handled check-in really well, and the quick breakfast was limited but decent. The room had two comfortable, firm queen beds and felt recently updated. It was spacious too, with a couch and sitting area, though the bathroom was a bit tight. There was a little road noise, but nothing too bothersome. A great budget-friendly option.

Really awful stay. The first night we cleaned the floor ourselves, and our feet still turned black. We ended up buying a Swiffer to clean it. There was nothing at breakfast for the first three days, and the staff were very rude. We were worried they knew what we had in the room because some things went missing. I also found carpet beetle larvae in the bathroom, then saw them embedded in my foot when I looked down in bed. My boyfriend is a veteran and got sick two nights before we left, but they wouldn't give us clean sheets. The cleaning staff were never allowed into the room. Completely disgusting. Don't stay here.

I've stayed here a few times a year when visiting family, but I may look elsewhere now. The snow clearing was poor: there was only one narrow path from the parking lot to the sidewalk by the rooms, and the sidewalk itself was icy. Also, the decision to remove the in-room coffee makers was terrible. To get coffee first thing, I had to cross the whole complex in 3-degree weather with a minus-25 wind chill. The room was clean and comfortable, but that morning walk was miserable.

The cheap price is the main upside, and the place feels like it earns about 3 stars, maybe 2.5. We were given a supposed upgrade to a king suite, but it was basically a standard room with a king bed and a mirrored jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was mediocre too. The pancake machine, which seemed like the main draw, was broken, and the breads and bagels were bland and stale. Before we even got inside, broken glass and a stray pair of boots outside our door made a bad first impression.

The jacuzzi trouble started the first night. The jets wouldn't start, and when we called the desk, a very kind woman with curly black hair said that room had been having problems. She suggested we keep trying, so we did for 15-20 minutes, but it still wouldn't work. She came up and couldn't get it going either, then offered another room the next morning because the other jacuzzi rooms were booked that night. We agreed. The tub in the new room worked the next day, until we couldn't get the jets to shut off. We tried the controls repeatedly and even waited for the water to drain some, but nothing changed. While my partner showered, I kept trying the button, and eventually it did turn off. We were checking out the following morning, so we mentioned the problem to the morning staff just so they would know, with no expectation of a refund. Things got ugly after that. While I was cleaning the car, my partner went to check out, then came back with a staff member heading toward our room. A few minutes later my partner said the man had been rude, so I went in to ask politely what was wrong. He said he couldn't reproduce the issue we had supposedly had with both tubs. I explained in detail what happened, in case something hadn't been passed along, but Ryan, the manager, kept implying we were lying. It made no sense to unpack in one room, move everything into an identical one, and unpack all over again just to make something up. He stayed hostile as I tried to calm things down. I was angry and can't remember everything he said, but he kept escalating. I told him to have the day he deserved and stepped out. My partner went back to the lobby to get our deposit, while I came in too because I wanted to speak with his manager, only to find out Ryan was the manager. My partner took a picture of Ryan for our complaint to corporate, along with photos of the review QR codes. Ryan then said my partner had “mental problems” and “trauma,” plus other profane things. My partner eventually walked away rather than continue engaging with him, and we left. With all the reviews and complaints about him, I don't understand how he still works there. I expected better from Wyndham.
