Our inn/condo was laid out really well, with lots of places to relax. It had one master bedroom, plus a sofa bed and an air mattress in the living room. The two buildings share a washer and dryer, which is handy for a longer stay. I was initially concerned about road noise, but by sunset it had gone quiet all around. Everything was lovely during our stay, and I'm glad we got to check it out. I think my pictures show the property well.
We were there for nearly three hours, and the wait staff let us talk without hovering while still being efficient. Coffee was excellent, too. The lunch menu was limited, but everything we ordered was fantastic. I swapped the French fries for a small salad with my tasty burger. It had been recommended as a good spot for a lunch meeting.
The hosts take great care of these clean, comfortable apartments, which are well appointed and in a quiet, safe building. It's only a few minutes' drive to Taos Ski Valley.
A local tenant who called himself the building's “President” made our stay a nightmare. Over a parking issue, he turned a minor, nonexistent problem into a confrontation. At one point he tried to barge into our room over supposed “backtalk,” which felt like trespassing. He needs to be terminated, or at least put on notice.
Unit 6 was clean and well located, and we enjoyed our stay. I just wish the hot tub were open longer than its three-hour window, from 4 to 7 pm.
