The front desk woman was nice, but I didn’t feel the room was worth $88 for one night. It was a complete rattletrap, and I never felt comfortable there. I stopped because I couldn’t drive any farther. Go the extra five miles to Dandridge.

The room was clean and very affordable, but I didn’t sleep well. There was a spot in the mattress that would pop and sink, so I wasn’t very rested the next morning. The door’s deadbolt didn’t work, the bolt hook had been removed, and a wide gap beneath the door let outside light through.

Room 234 was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water, though the showerhead could stand to be a foot higher so I wouldn’t have to squat to rinse my hair. The two pillows per bed were tiny, but fine since I was alone. The big concern was the door: the deadbolt wouldn’t lock, the bar lock was gone, tissues filled the peephole, and the gaps around the door were large. I was asked to park my truck and trailer in a gravel lot just off the property with other tractor trailers. The entrance was steep and scraped both the front foot and rear of my trailer. The man at check-in and the woman working in the morning were both friendly and well spoken. It was a decent stay, but that front door worried me.

I only ended up staying because I blew a tire in the middle of the night. There was dried blood on one of the pillows. Nasty.
