I checked out today after 28 days in a one-bedroom at 52 bank Street White Plains, NY, where I came from Florida to visit my ailing 90-year-old mother. I paid over $6,000 for the stay, and the furniture was nowhere near what I expected from a supposedly luxury building. I contacted Global Luxury Suites more than seven times about the bed and couch. They repeatedly said someone would come inspect them, but nobody did. On my last call, on 8/1, they said someone might come sometime next week to replace the furniture. That was too late. The bed's springs kept popping up and made it impossible for me to sleep at night. It was the oldest mattress I've ever seen. The couch sank down to the bottom rail when I sat on it, so I couldn't sleep there either. I want a FULL REFUND ASAP. SEE ATTACHED. They haven't responded favorably at all. BEWARE!!!! I was staying here indefinitely for a work assignment while my company hired a replacement for the area. After more than a month in the apartment, I gave two weeks' notice that I wanted to extend. They asked me to pay upfront and sign a lease, and I agreed because I understood I was staying in an apartment. Then, on the very day my original stay ended, I got a text while I was out taking work appointments saying they wouldn't renew because of my credit score. I had given them far more notice than they gave me. They refunded me and changed the digital door code before I could offer a co-signer or even get back in to collect my things. I had to cancel the rest of my sessions that day, which cost my company revenue. A wonderful apartment concierge called the third-party company for me. They gave me a temporary code, but only 30 minutes to get my belongings. I was frazzled and shut the now-locked door after leaving, then realized later that I'd forgotten some clothes and a phone charger. By then the 30 minutes had passed. I hadn't taken out the trash or washed the dishes either, though I had planned to do that that night. Thankfully, I did manage to get most of the groceries I'd bought the night before. The way they treated me showed an appalling lack of respect for guests. I've never been treated so poorly by a company that's supposed to provide hospitality. I'll never book through them again.

The unit wasn't ready for anyone to stay in: the beds were unmade, the toilets hadn't been flushed, and the place was generally dirty. Check-in was a nightmare, and management didn't respond when I tried to reach them. I'd strongly advise against staying here.

Dirty, overpriced, and communication was lacking. I don't even know where to start. Just terrible, especially if this is what guests are supposed to expect.

The apartment looks beautiful, but this was easily the worst place I've stayed. The mattresses are awful, so don't expect a good night's sleep, and be ready to pay a lot for parking.
