Comfort Inn White River Junction

The room was filthy, from the mirrors and desk to the microwave, fridge, and shower. It looked like none of it had been cleaned in ages. The bed and pillows were awful to sleep on, and breakfast and coffee were bad too. On top of that, a dog barked in a room all weekend. Comfort Inn felt very uncomfortable. The place needs updating and staff who care about guests and cleanliness. Maybe then it could improve.

For the price, this was a letdown. We slept fine in the beds, but the shower didn't look clean, breakfast wasn't good, and the sink in our second room wouldn't drain. We reported it and were told maintenance would come, but nobody showed up. Our first room smelled bad and had lamps that didn't work, so we switched. The next room smelled cleaner and the lamps were fine, at least. We decided to get McDonald's next door in the morning before heading to the airport.

Breakfast was really good, and the front desk person was friendly and helped us figure out the area and which roads to take. The place was very clean and nice, though a little dated. We stayed for one night a week ago and would come back.

The price is outrageous for a place in this condition. I was on the first floor, and housekeeping was awful. The bed wasn't even made properly, and there was hair left in the shower from whoever used it before me. Super 8 might have a better track record than this place.
