Howard's Creek Inn

After being hospitalized for a long time, I wanted one quiet day in blue bend to relax. I called before booking to ask about dogs and was told they were allowed. We’d stayed once before, but after that one night we were told we couldn’t return because dog hair had been found on the bed. They said dogs were only allowed in certain rooms, something nobody mentioned when I asked. They also blamed us for the garbage disposal not working, though the sink already had water in it when we arrived and the disposal wasn’t working then. I pump milk for my babies and needed to wash my pumps, so the water started building up. We arrived at 11 p.m. and left at 11 a.m., so I didn’t call about it during that short stay. Nobody contacted us afterward to say we couldn’t come back. The receptionist left the reservation in place, then when I called for the PIN after driving for hours, she screamed that we couldn’t stay. We had to find somewhere else late at night. She was incredibly rude, the worst person I’ve ever spoken to. The room itself wasn’t bad. I don’t know if someone made a mess after we left, but banning us over dog hair on the sheets makes no sense to me. If you stay, apparently you have to wash and clean everything perfectly or risk being banned. They clearly aren’t dog friendly.
