The creek view from our room's private balcony was lovely, and the Logan Room may be the nicest place I've ever stayed. My boyfriend and I visited in October and we're still talking about Whitefish and the inn a month later. The room's fireplace and hot tub were wonderful, and the inn felt cozy, with plants throughout the lobby, a few fish tanks, and a wood fire each morning. Everyone on staff was kind. They even went out of their way to ship my water bottle after I left it behind. We'll definitely visit again someday.

As a kid, I used to see this place and wonder what it was like inside. I finally stayed, and the room was quiet and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade huckleberry biscuits and yogurt, plus raw milk. The security was really good too.

Each morning in the Isaac room, we woke to a gorgeous sunrise above the treeline, and in the evenings we watched a family of deer graze through the grass. We came here before heading to Glacier National Park, and breakfast was delicious every morning. The hosts were kind and very accommodating. We'd definitely stay again, five stars all around.

The riverside setting was beautiful, and our room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was a lovely continental spread. From booking through arrival, communication was outstanding, and the service was excellent. It's nice to find that kind of home-grown hospitality. A real credit to Todd and team.

We had a great two-night stay. The lodge was very nice, the staff and property were friendly, and breakfast was great. Our roomy, cozy room had a fireplace and river view, plus a nicely sized bathroom. It's also close to a lively downtown.
