Edelweiss Condominiums

The dedicated parking area is conveniently close, and this is a lovely little condo building. It's not quite ski-in, ski-out, but the chairs 1 and 2 are only about 150 feet away, about as close as you can get. We'd definitely stay again.

A cozy little place about 100 feet from the ski lifts. After a long day snowboarding, the hot tub and sauna were great to have, and the staff were very friendly.

I'd never stayed at a ski resort before, and this condo was super cool. I was there in the off-season, so the place was empty. The unit was beautiful, completely redone in a wood theme, and had one of the best kitchens. There wasn't enough snow to ski yet, but they were making snow so people could already get to the top and ski back down. I'm guessing it gets really busy in winter and is a lot of fun.

We came in summer to hike local trails and visit Glacier. The resort doesn't provide a daily activity schedule and focuses on ski season, so if you need someone to make plans for you or hold your hand, this probably isn't the summer spot for you. There's plenty to do nearby, though. My wife and I liked the resort trails. Taking the lift up and hiking down worked well, and there are bike rentals and lots of trails down the mountain, along with good hikes around Whitefish. The rooms are dated, but comfortable and well maintained. I drove a Tesla, and they let me use the 120-volt outlet right outside my room to maintain the charge. There are charging options in Whitefish and at the lodges at the bottom of the road up to the resort.
