Ramad 612 - Pool, Bunk Beds, Huge TV, Tiki Bar

I was nervous booking somewhere new for my first trip to Sarasota with my kids, but I’m so glad we picked this Ramada Inn. The heated pool and live music at the tiki bar were great, and both the food and service were good. Everyone was nice and hospitable, from the front desk to the restaurant team. Bruce at the hotel restaurant was especially warm and accommodating, and Melissa put together a delicious breakfast spread. We’re happy with our choice and look forward to coming back.

Bruce was so friendly and bubbly at breakfast, and the waffles were phenomenal. There was also a fun little karaoke night. The bathroom is a bit small but not too bad, and it could use better lighting. I had a very pleasant stay and would come back.

The service was 10/10, especially good-looking Bruce at breakfast. The hallway diffuser used to cover up smells was a bit much. The rooms are really tired, and the “renovations” seem to amount to fresh paint over the same old problems. The beds were all right. Fine for one night, but I wouldn’t vacation here for long.

We picked this place because it was convenient for our soccer tournament, and we enjoyed the Tiki Bar in the evening. The breakfast was very good, and Bruce, Miriam, and Elpine were kind and helpful. We especially appreciated how nice Bruce was in the morning. The front desk staff were very nice too. We stayed in the interior corridor. Our room was fine, although the bathroom could use some TLC. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay with great staff.
