Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Wickenburg

The hotel's staff were very nice and breakfast was good, though one person working Saturday breakfast was rude to guests who came in at 6:50 instead of 7:00. At the restaurant, the food was good, but service was poor. There were only a few tables occupied and still not enough menus, and it took a long time to get service, drinks, food, and the check. The staff and manager seemed unsure what they were doing, and things didn't flow well between the kitchen and the front.

The TV lost its sound, but a hotel employee came promptly and reset the satellite service, which fixed it. The facility is new and decent, and breakfast is OK, though the systems seem lacking. At check-in on my business trip, I asked for housekeeping during my five-night stay starting 2-11-26. Nobody came on 2-12. I asked the desk again, then on 2-13 the housekeepers said they'd only empty trash and change towels because the hotel was too busy to do linens or clean. A desk clerk told me there was no system to note a housekeeping request and it was up to the front desk person to pass it along. AMAZING! Wissota Chop House shares the space. We ate there and wouldn't go back, the meal wasn't good. We've still got three nights here, so maybe things will improve. We may be back around this time next year, but unless things change dramatically, we won't stay here. Joe W.

When I went down for breakfast, it had been closed for only three or four minutes, but the food was still out. I asked if I could take a few things and the woman rudely said no, as if I'd done something wrong. She could easily have offered me a piece of fruit and something to take back to the room. After an exhausting day of travel, her response made me cry in the elevator. We'd only gotten to bed after 2 a.m. after being delayed on the drive and arriving after 1 a.m. Earlier, we'd called to ask for a lower floor because we had two sleeping kids to carry in, but were put on the third floor. The pullout bed had no sheets, and the front desk was never staffed when we passed through the lobby. For the price and location, I expected more of the small-town friendliness Wickenburg is known for. We were very disappointed, won't return, and don't recommend this place.

I called to ask a basic question and had a really disappointing interaction. The woman who answered, I think her name was Jess, had a noticeable attitude, raised her voice, and was extremely rude and unprofessional. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. A customer's treatment reflects on management, and this made the business seem poorly managed, without proper training or oversight. The manager should make sure employees treat people respectfully. Nobody should feel disrespected just for calling with a question. I hope they improve their customer service.
