The third room was the best of the three, but it was dark and dingy. It was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled like smoke, and we’re smokers. I went out the back of the building to get my car near the first room and fell on ice that hadn’t been salted. Now I’m injured, and she can’t tell me anything or help. We’re so upset. Renovations happen, I understand, but this place is hazardous and shouldn’t be open to anyone. There may have been major smoke or water damage at some point. A trap house is better. The rooms didn’t look like the pictures on websites. There was no restaurant or breakfast, and the advertising was false. The first room, on the third floor, was filthy and smelly, with patched holes that hadn’t been repainted and dirty walls. The second room smelled like sewage, and we didn’t even walk three steps inside. I would’ve taken my money back right away if I could.

I stayed here for a while as I looked for an apartment, and it was affordable compared with other hotels. The area was quiet, the room was clean, and I didn’t see any bugs. Staff were polite. The water got hot, the air conditioning and heat both worked, and there was a microwave and fridge. I don’t get all the bad reviews. If you need a clean, safe, affordable place to sleep, it beats sleeping in your car.

This inn was nasty. There were roaches and bed bugs, stains on the sheets and pillows, and belongings from a previous guest still under the bed. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned either. They need to improve the service and do better.

I left because the room was in terrible shape, and they refused my refund after I called the hotel and Priceline. The hotel even hung up on me. I’d shown the front desk pictures of the room, and I work at a hotel as a night auditor, so I know they could refund me but chose not to. I’m reporting them to the board of health first thing Monday morning. I don’t recommend anyone stay here. I used to stay here when I was a teenager, back when it was a Quality Inn, and it was beautiful. For my reservation on 9/26/25, the room had nothing but a bed. The tub was filthy, there was no tissue or soap, and roaches came out of the dresser and were on the shower curtain.

We didn’t stay long enough to find out for ourselves, but people in the room across the hall said they’d seen cockroaches. The hotel itself looked abandoned, or like a haunted house, rather than somewhere operating as a hotel. Several windows were boarded up, and caution tape was all over the lobby. Sleeping in a Walmart parking lot would’ve been about the same experience for much less money. I don’t know if the photos online are decades old or heavily edited, but they look nothing like the place in person. I’d give this zero stars if I could.
