It’s an affordable place to stay, and only a 10 minute drive from my son’s house, which worked well for me. The room and hotel were very clean. I could hear people moving around next door through the somewhat thin walls. Nearby, there’s only a gas station, liquor store, and McDonald’s.
We only stayed one night, but we’d come back. The beds were comfortable and the room felt clean and fresh. There were just three small square pillows on each bed. With no carpet, getting around the room could work for someone with a disability, though I found the high tub edge a little hard to step over with my bad back and legs. The advertised breakfast wasn’t offered, and the only way to the second floor was stairs.
The room smelled awful, with weed odor lingering all night. I also found ants in the bathtub and rat droppings on the bed. The only things I liked were the water pressure and how comfortable the bed was. The man who checked us in had poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless there’s no other choice.
The beds were comfortable, but that was the one good thing. We had a queen room, and around 11pm we could smell weed in it. Neither of us smokes. The place was just okay.
The pool was pretty and clean, and there was plenty of ice. The refrigerator had no freezer, so bring your own soap and shampoo. If you’re bringing kids, pack their blankets too.
