Country Inn & Suites By Carlson,Wilder, KY

We spent 4 days here for a wedding and had a really quiet stay, maybe the quietest motel I’ve been in. The mattress was so comfortable I’d love to have one at home. There was a smell in the room, like another reviewer mentioned, and I assume it was from a cleaning product, but it didn’t bother me. Everything else was top-notch: clean rooms and common areas, friendly and helpful staff, a great breakfast bar, coffee available all day, and a nice pool, hot tub, and workout area. The location worked perfectly for us. If you’re around Cincinnati and want to avoid a congested area, this place in Wilder, Ky is only a few miles away. We were very happy with Country Inn & Suites.

A comfortable, clean place with really nice rooms for a very good price. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the continental breakfast is amazing. I live 15 minutes away and bring my kids here for a weekend swim and some family time. It’s a great spot for that.

The TV looked ancient, with a grainy picture on its LCD screen, and the nights were noisy. I could hear water gurgling in the wall and people stomping around on the floor above. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable, so the hotel was acceptable overall. If I come back, I’d ask for a top-floor room.

We loved how close the hotel is to Coney Island and the Belterra Racino, and we’ve already booked another stay for the 4th of July weekend. My husband keeps talking about how well he slept here, and we’ll see you guys July 2nd! At first, the construction signs made us unsure, but the front desk kindly walked us to room 222 so we could inspect it. It was so clean we could kick off our shoes and relax. The halls and room were spotless, and everyone was friendly. Laura took great care of us and our room, and the front desk staff were wonderful. I’d read mixed reviews before booking, but our experience was entirely positive. Breakfast was fantastic, especially eating waffles with real plates, silverware, and glassware. You can borrow free movie DVDs from the front desk, and every room has a DVD player if you bring your own for the kids. We had a great weekend.
