Comfort Inn & Suites Wildwood - The Villages

Our car broke down, so we needed a room and took the last one available. We had no other choice but to stay the night, and it cost us $230. The front desk staff were sweet and very apologetic, and we know this wasn’t their fault. But we will NEVER return. Management offered a partial refund, but it still hasn’t happened. The room was not cleaned. There was a sticky hard floor, dust in the carpet, mold in the shower, and prints, smudges, and dried bits on all the handlebars. The AC/heater reeked of mildew. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned, and neither had the sink or counter. There was hair in both beds, plus hair and a large dried booger on one of the top blankets. I named it Bob. I had to clean the bathroom myself, and none of us wanted to shower. It was an accessible room, and I wonder if that contributed to it being skipped. We don’t know how long it had been left unsanitized. That’s sad. No disabled person deserves this treatment. Stay away unless your car breaks down and you have nowhere else to go.

Traveling with a big group of teenagers can be tough, but the staff made it feel easy. Everyone we met was courteous, patient, and incredibly friendly. Star Weaver especially went out of her way to look after our students during a busy, exciting weekend. She checked in regularly, offered helpful guidance, and treated every student with respect. Her kindness, professionalism, and care made a real difference, and her positive attitude helped everyone feel welcome. Our local high school marching band stayed here while competing at the state championships. We’re grateful to Star Weaver and the whole team for helping make the trip memorable. Highly recommended for groups.

There was a lot of construction in the area during our stay. The desk staff were great, and the bathroom could’ve been cleaner, though it wasn’t bad. I’d stay again.

The air was nice and cool, and I felt at home with everything I needed. My suite was clean. The bed could’ve been a bit more comfortable, but I slept well anyway. I’d stay again if I get to go back.
