A Shore View Resort

We got to check in a couple of hours early, but then found a bed bug on one of the bed frames. They treated us like we were making it up, and we nearly didn’t get our money back. The only person we dealt with in person was a regular employee. When we finally spoke with the owner by phone, he talked to us like children. They called the refund a favor, and luckily we found another hotel to stay at. But the next day, I saw that the room we were meant to have had been rented out. I would never book a room here.

For what I paid, I was very disappointed with how unclean the place was. The cable wasn’t working, so I called the lobby and the woman there asked me to look for the TV remote. I couldn’t find it, but did find trash under the bed and a previous guest’s bobby pins in the carpet. My husband stepped on broken glass by the edge of the bed. There was also a brown substance all over the refrigerator’s bottom drawer.

We stayed at A Shore View Motel in 2013 and found the room gloomy and dirty. The bathroom didn’t even have its own sink, and there was no Wi-Fi. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was really clean and great, and the beach was very close. The boardwalk took a bit more walking, but I didn’t mind.
