We had the best time here for Tiki by the Sea. The family-owned place has loads of character, and the couple hosting us were wonderful. The rooms have an old-school feel, the beds were comfortable, and the showers were hot. There’s a heated pool and a small covered pavilion where we could hang out, which was handy since it rained most of our stay. We could walk to the beach, which was lovely in the morning. Probably the best motel I’ve stayed at. I’d love to come back.

The staff are helpful, and the mattresses are cozy, but the sofa bed is hard as concrete. The pool is too small, and the barbecue grills are dirty and broken. Parking spots are so tight it’s impossible not to touch the other cars. There’s no laundry on the property.

Just steps from the beach, and the owners were kind and accommodating. Our room was cute, clean, and comfortable. A lovely stay, and we’d absolutely come back.

It’s like a friend’s basement that hasn’t had an update since the 70s. The location is great and the price was affordable. The room wasn’t spotless, but it wasn’t a mess either, and the linens seemed clean. The shower curtain was really moldy, the fridge barely worked, and the TV remotes didn’t work. The door barely latched, and it looked like there had been a lot of old attempts to break in, probably by guests. It’s not a rough area or anything. The owners don’t seem to believe in updating a thing. I wanted to leave on the first day, but couldn’t find anywhere nearby. I woke up feeling less clean than when I went to bed. My advice: update the place and charge double. You’re better than this, lol.

The rooms were clean, and the beach is right nearby. We found the Jitney an easy way to get to the boardwalk.
