Blue Palms Resort

We paid about $230 a night for a package with passes to the amusement piers, water parks, and mini golf. It was a great value: we used the passes every day and saved a lot. The location is fabulous, just a few feet from the boardwalk and beach, and there was plenty of parking, with extra spaces in the public overflow lot behind the building if needed. The motel was reasonably priced, with big rooms that were especially clean and smelled fresh. The pool and surrounding areas were spotless, with staff constantly cleaning. Front desk staff were pleasant, eager to help, and shared lots of information and tips. I’ll definitely be back!

This has become my new favorite place to stay. The prices are great, and wristbands for the rides and water park are included. The rooms are clean, the AC works great, and there are chairs and boogie boards to use. The pool and surrounding area are clean too, the staff are great, and it’s close to the boardwalk.

If a dated room right by the beach works for you, the location is there. But music from the honky tonk bar next door pounds late into the evening, then a DJ takes over and stays just as loud until 2am. The front desk staff say the police don’t care. So be warned, if you want to sleep, find somewhere else. The rooms feel incredibly damp with the AC on or off. I included a picture of grime on the baseboard.

I went just before the season began and felt I got my money’s worth. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, everything was clean, and room service was good. If you want to be right by the boardwalk in the heart of Wildwood, the location is probably the best. Being so close to the hotel meant I got to try restaurants I’d never had the chance to visit because of their hours, including restaurants and bars. My room was on the third floor, at the hotel corner, and had a really great view. It feels updated and fresh while still keeping that Wildwood feel. I can’t wait to come back!
