Dolphin Inn

Dolphin Inn is a block from the beach and boardwalk, and Duffers is two blocks the other way for ice cream sundaes, arcade games, and mini golf. Green liquors is there if you want some sauce. The pool and rooms were clean, and the staff and other guests were friendly. Warm, laid-back hospitality made this the best stay for the three of us. Thanks, Dolphin Inn staff. Already planning to come right back next year.

When I finally got into the room, there was a used condom and a stained bed. It was unsanitary, so I refused to stay even when they offered another room. Check-in was late because they hadn't gotten my room ready, and the front office did nothing to help. They were very disrespectful. Debbie and her brother, or whoever he is, made this one of the worst motels I've stayed at.

The location is great, but the rooms need attention. There was hair on the beds and they were dirty. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, with toys all over the place. She got upset when the kids touched them. Why have toys out when you know families with children will be staying? Kids are kids, and it's impossible to expect them not to touch. I'll add some pictures so you can see what I mean. They need to clean the rooms, and the receptionist was horrible.

Our room was ready before check-in, and it was clean and roomy. Rico was very nice, and my partner and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel is at the far end of the boardwalk, but you can take the train car or rent a bike. A very nice hotel, and I'd stay again.
