Skylark Resort Motel

I was very satisfied with the stay and would recommend it for the price. I paid $86, plus tax, which brought it to $101.95 if I remember right, and I’d rate it 7/10. The hotel was quiet, and our clean, comfortable room was good for the low cost. It had a microwave, mini fridge/freezer, extra pillows, cable TV, soap, towels, and washcloths. There’s no food or drink service, but plenty of places to eat nearby. The boardwalk is under two blocks away, with stores within walking distance. Security is basic, just a door and chain lock, but Wildwood is generally safe, so I wasn’t worried.

The Wi-Fi was fast, and the room and pool were nice for the price. All the staff were friendly and courteous. I arrived late, but Rana stayed to make sure check-in went smoothly and that I was comfortable. She seemed genuinely kind and invested in my experience. Thanks for restoring some of my faith in humanity 🙏

The room was clean and comfortable, though the pool was small. Moni, the front desk manager, was professional and so sweet. She’s a gem, and the hotel is lucky to have her. I’d definitely return.

The beds are still a little uncomfortable, so bring a mattress pad. There isn’t much room for bathroom supplies either, and a shower caddy would help. On the plus side, the fridge/freezer is a nice size, the shower stays hot for a long time, and the air conditioners get nice and cold. It’s also easy to get to the boardwalk. The woman at the front desk is such a huge improvement from that mean guy. She’s welcoming, makes you feel at home, and genuinely wants to help make your stay better.
